GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming school environment in Newcastle. This is your chance to play a vital role in shaping young minds, supporting both pupils and teachers throughout the school day.
What You’ll Do as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Support teachers in delivering creative, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils with varying abilities progress.
- Assist with behaviour management to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Encourage children to participate, stay motivated, and develop essential learning skills.
- Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where every child feels valued.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
