Behaviour Mentor – Primary School (Harlow) | Immediate Start | Full-Time

Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s life?

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming primary school in Harlow. This is a full-time, immediate start role supporting a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing both academic and emotional support throughout the school day.


The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Work 1:1 with a pupil with SEN, supporting their learning and development

  • Help manage and positively influence behaviour in and out of the classroom

  • Build a strong, trusting relationship to support emotional regulation

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies

  • Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment


What We’re Looking For

  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive individual

  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar preferred)

  • Strong behaviour management skills or a willingness to learn

  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

  • Graduates or aspiring teachers/psychologists are highly encouraged to apply


 Pay & Benefits

  • £90 – £115 per day (depending on experience)

  • Fortnightly pay – reliable and consistent

  • Full-time, long-term opportunity with potential for permanent placement
