Job Title: Learning Support Assistant – Secondary Focus
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460–£600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Do you enjoy supporting secondary students and helping them stay on track? A Sheffield school is seeking a proactive Learning Support Assistant to provide targeted support across a range of subjects.

About the Role:
You will work alongside teachers to support students in lessons, providing additional guidance and helping to improve engagement and progress.
Responsibilities:

Support students during lessons and learning activities

Provide one-to-one and small group support

Encourage engagement and independent learning

Assist with classroom organisation and resources

Monitor and report on student progress
Requirements:

Experience working with secondary students desirable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patient, proactive, and adaptable

Ability to work effectively within a team

Have the right to work in the UK

Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years

Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
