Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: WF4
Salary: £460–£600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Do you have the patience and passion to support students with additional needs? A Wakefield - WF4 school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to help students overcome barriers and succeed in the classroom.

You will work closely with teachers to support students with SEN, providing guidance, encouragement, and personalised support throughout the school day.
Responsibilities:

Support students with SEN during lessons and activities

Implement individual learning and behaviour plans

Encourage independence and confidence

Monitor and report on student progress

Assist in creating a positive learning environment
Requirements:

Experience working with SEN students desirable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patient, empathetic, and adaptable

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you should:

Have the right to work in the UK

Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years

Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
