Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Salary: Upto £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic English Teachers to join welcoming and supportive secondary schools in Sheffield (S35).
As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping students develop strong communication skills, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of English language and literature across key stage 3, 4 and 5.
Main Responsibilities of a Teacher of English:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Teach a range of topics within English Language and Literature.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track attainment.
- Create an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and enrichment activities.
English Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
- Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
