Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460–£650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day

Confident leading a classroom and keeping students on track? A Sheffield secondary school is seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to step in, maintain momentum, and ensure learning never stops.

About the Role:
You will supervise pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour, and support students in staying engaged with their work across a range of subjects.
Responsibilities:

Supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher

Maintain positive behaviour and classroom structure

Ensure students remain engaged with set work

Provide feedback to teaching staff on progress and behaviour

Uphold safeguarding and school policies
Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people desirable

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Confident, adaptable, and professional approach

Ability to engage and motivate students
