Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham – S25
Salary: £460–£600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day

You will work alongside teachers to support SEN students, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop independence.
Responsibilities:

Support students with SEN in lessons and activities

Assist with personalised learning strategies and interventions

Encourage engagement and independence

Monitor and record student progress

Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:

Experience working with SEN students desirable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patient, empathetic, and adaptable

Ability to work as part of a team
To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you should:

Have the right to work in the UK

Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years

Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
