Job Title: Sports Coach / Learning Support
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460–£650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Do you have a sports background and a passion for motivating young people? A Sheffield school is looking for an energetic Sports Coach / Learning Support Assistant to bring enthusiasm, structure, and engagement into the classroom.

About the Role:
You will support lessons, supervise classes, and use your sports background to engage students—particularly those who benefit from practical, hands-on learning approaches.
Responsibilities:

Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities

Supervise classes as a cover supervisor when required

Use sports-based approaches to engage and motivate students

Support behaviour management and student engagement

Provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:
-
Background in sports coaching, fitness, or similar

Confidence working with groups of students

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, proactive, and adaptable

Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
