Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a skilled Computer Science Teacher to join a school in Sheffield (S11), delivering engaging lessons that develop programming knowledge, computational thinking, and digital literacy.

As Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured Computer Science lessons, supporting students to explore coding, algorithms, and data while encouraging problem-solving and independent learning in a positive classroom environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver well-organised Computer Science lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Support pupils in developing coding, logical reasoning, and technical skills
  • Encourage creativity and independent learning through practical activities
  • Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning environment
  • Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience working as Computer Science Teacher in a school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
