Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a passionate Art Teacher to work with schools in Sheffield, including the S11 area, delivering engaging lessons that encourage creativity, imagination, and artistic development.
As an Art Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that help students explore different artistic techniques and media, while building confidence, critical thinking, and a love for art in a supportive classroom environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Art lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach a range of techniques including drawing, painting, and mixed media.
- Encourage creativity, experimentation, and individual expression.
- Maintain a positive and well-organised classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Support displays, exhibitions, or extracurricular art activities where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as an Art Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
