Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Inspire students to develop strong literacy, communication, and analytical skills through engaging and well-structured English lessons!
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join schools in Sheffield, covering the S11 area. The English Teacher will deliver lessons that foster reading, writing, and critical thinking, helping students gain confidence and achieve their potential.
Main Duties:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support students in developing reading comprehension, writing, and analytical skills.
- Encourage discussion, interpretation, and critical analysis of texts.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and focused classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as English Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
