Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a reliable and organised Cover Supervisor who can support learning and maintain a positive classroom environment?
Schools in Sheffield (S11) and GSL Education are hiring a reliable Cover Supervisor to manage classes and ensure students remain focused during teacher absences.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise lessons following teachers’ plans, support students’ learning, and help maintain good behaviour and engagement across the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classes during teacher absences.
- Follow lesson plans and support student learning.
- Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.
- Promote positive behaviour and classroom expectations.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or in a classroom setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Organised, reliable, and proactive approach.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
