Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield (S5, S9). This is a brilliant opportunity for a motivated teacher to engage students, develop their understanding of the world, and make learning Geography both exciting and accessible.
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons, support students of all abilities, and work closely with colleagues to help every pupil reach their potential. The successful candidate will be confident, approachable, and committed to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to school students
- Support students’ learning both individually and in small groups
- Encourage critical thinking and exploration of physical and human geography
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Promote positive behaviour and student engagement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop teaching resources
- Contribute to school activities, trips, or enrichment sessions
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
- Ability to inspire and engage students across all abilities
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
