SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Selby
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full Time / Part Time
Start Date: February 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a welcoming school in Selby.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

Assist teachers in delivering adapted and engaging lessons

Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties

Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement support plans
Requirements
-
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable

Patient, empathetic and proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
