Maths Teacher
Location: York
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time (Fixed Term)
Start Date: Easter 2026
Duration: Until May Half Term
GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated Maths Teacher for a short-term full-time role in a secondary school near York, from Easter until May Half Term.

Responsibilities

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4

Deliver clear and engaging lessons

Support pupils in preparation for GCSEs

Assess and monitor student progress

Maintain a positive classroom environment
Requirements

QTS with a Maths specialism

Experience teaching KS3 and GCSE Maths

Strong subject knowledge

Effective classroom management skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
