Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type - Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting students in their learning journey?
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Worksop (S81). This is a great opportunity for a motivated TA to work closely with teachers and help students achieve their full potential in a positive learning environment.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will support classroom activities, work with students on a one-to-one or small group basis, and help create an engaging and inclusive atmosphere. The successful candidate will be patient, proactive, and confident working with children of different abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in lessons as a classroom Teaching Assistant
- Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
- Assist with classroom activities and learning tasks
- Help promote positive behaviour and student engagement
- Support teachers with classroom preparation and supervision
- Encourage students’ confidence, independence, and participation
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Ability to support students across different abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
- An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
