Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting an enthusiastic Sports Coach to work in schools across the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley.

As a Sports Coach, you will deliver engaging physical activities, support PE lessons, and encourage pupils to participate positively in sport and fitness.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver structured and enjoyable sports sessions and activities.
  • Support PE teachers during curriculum lessons.
  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles.
  • Manage behaviour effectively during sports sessions.
  • Assist with extracurricular clubs and school sports events.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Sports Coach or in a similar role with young people.
  • Relevant coaching qualification (desirable).
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Energetic, proactive, and reliable approach.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
