Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71). This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in building strong foundations in computing, programming, and digital literacy.
As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage logical thinking, creativity, and an understanding of modern technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality computing lessons as a Computer Science Teacher.
- Teach programming, algorithms, and key computer science concepts.
- Support pupils in developing analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the computing curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Computer Science in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- An engaging, enthusiastic, and motivating teaching approach.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
