Job Title: Qualified Physical Education (PE) Teacher - Secondary School across KS3 & KS4
Location: South Manchester
Contract Type: Full-Time - Long Term
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified PE Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in South Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting a love of physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.
The successful candidate will be joining a supportive department and will play a key role in delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons across the school.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 may be available)

Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular sports activities

Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider staff team

Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

A degree in Physical Education or a related subject

Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning

A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
