Job Title: Behaviour Support

Rotherham (S25)
Payrate: £100+ per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are hiring a motivated Behaviour Support professional to work with schools in Rotherham, including the S25 area, supporting students who need additional behavioural and emotional guidance.

As a Behaviour Support staff member, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to help students manage their behaviour, build resilience, and stay engaged in their learning within a structured and supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with behavioural needs.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and support students in developing self-regulation skills.
  • Assist teachers in maintaining a calm and focused classroom environment.
  • Build positive relationships with students to support their wellbeing.
  • Monitor progress and report any concerns or improvements to staff.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student development.

Requirements of Behaviour Support:

  • Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural needs, is desirable.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • A patient, resilient, and supportive approach.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and motivate students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
