Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Rotherham (S25)
Payrate: £100+ per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
Do you enjoy supporting young people and helping them develop positive behaviour and confidence in school?
GSL Education are hiring a motivated Behaviour Support professional to work with schools in Rotherham, including the S25 area, supporting students who need additional behavioural and emotional guidance.
As a Behaviour Support staff member, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to help students manage their behaviour, build resilience, and stay engaged in their learning within a structured and supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with behavioural needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support students in developing self-regulation skills.
- Assist teachers in maintaining a calm and focused classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with students to support their wellbeing.
- Monitor progress and report any concerns or improvements to staff.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student development.
Requirements of Behaviour Support:
- Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural needs, is desirable.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A patient, resilient, and supportive approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships and motivate students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
