Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Rotherham (S25)
Payrate: £100+ per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
Support students in developing positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement with learning through consistent guidance and encouragement!
GSL Education are searching for a resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a school in Rotherham, serving the S25 area. The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural support, helping them stay focused, regulated, and engaged in their education.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural needs.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
- Build positive relationships to support emotional and social development.
- Work alongside teaching and pastoral staff to support individual plans
- Monitor progress and report any concerns to senior staff.
Requirements of Behaviour Mentor:
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
- Ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
