Teacher of Maths
Location: Easingwold, North Yorkshire
Start Date: Easter 2026
Contract: Full-Time (Until May Half Term)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Easingwold on a full-time basis from Easter through to May half term. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated educator to make an immediate impact within a supportive and well-established Maths department.
The Role as a Teacher of Maths:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and GCSE
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Maintain strong classroom management and high expectations of behaviour
- Contribute positively to the wider school environment during your placement
The Ideal Teacher of Maths:
- Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and GCSE level
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage learners
- Confident managing behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running
