Salary: £90–£120 per day (dependent on experience)

This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is ideal for graduates looking to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or a long-term career in education.
The successful Graduate Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers to support pupils in the classroom and help raise engagement and attainment. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide academic support, work with small groups and help pupils develop confidence in their learning.
Key Responsibilities of the Graduate Teaching Assistant:

Supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects.

Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.

Promoting positive behaviour and classroom engagement.

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required.

Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant Will:

Hold a degree in any subject area.

Be interested in pursuing a career in education.

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Be proactive, adaptable and enthusiastic.

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

Have a fully checkable work history.
