Learning & Care Support Worker Required – Complex Needs SEN School
Barnet, North London | Full-Time | Long-Term
Daily Rate: £90 – £110
Are you experienced in health and social care and ready to bring your skills into a specialist school environment? We are looking for a Learning & Care Support Worker to support children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and complex medical or sensory needs. Many pupils are non-verbal and require hands-on support with daily routines, communication, and learning activities.
About the role
As a Learning & Care Support Worker, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to help pupils engage in learning, develop life skills, and access their full potential.
Key responsibilities:

Supporting pupils during lessons and sensory activities

Assisting with personal care, feeding, and mobility

Encouraging communication, interaction, and independence

Collaborating with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support
