Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you a patient and dedicated SEN Teacher who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs?
Schools in Wakefield (WF4) and GSL Education are searching for a committed Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to provide tailored support and inclusive learning experiences.
As an SEN Teacher, you will work with pupils who require additional guidance and support to achieve their academic and personal goals. You will create a structured and encouraging classroom environment where students feel confident, engaged, and supported.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to SEN students’ needs.
- Support students in developing academic, social, and emotional skills.
- Implement individual learning plans and targeted interventions.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and external agencies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching or supporting SEN pupils.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Empathetic, patient, and adaptable approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
