Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you an engaging and thoughtful RE Teacher who enjoys encouraging students to explore different beliefs, values, and perspectives?
Schools in Sheffield (S35) and GSL Education are looking for a passionate Religious Education (RE) Teacher to deliver interesting and meaningful lessons.
As an RE Teacher, you will help students understand a range of religions, cultures, and ethical viewpoints. You will create a respectful classroom environment where pupils feel comfortable discussing ideas, asking questions, and developing critical thinking skills.
Key Duties:
- Plan and deliver well-structured and engaging RE lessons.
- Encourage respectful discussion about religions and beliefs.
- Monitor and assess student progress and participation.
- Promote cultural awareness and thoughtful discussion.
- Maintain positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Religious Education in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A supportive, organised, and professional approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
