Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Encourage students to explore the world and understand the connections between people, places, and environments through engaging geography lessons!
GSL Education are searching for a motivated Geography Teacher to join a school in Sheffield, serving the S35 area. The Geography Teacher will deliver well-structured lessons that develop map skills, enquiry-based learning, and awareness of global and environmental issues.
Responsibilities of Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support students in developing research, analytical, and fieldwork skills.
- Encourage discussion on environmental change and global development.
- Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching geography in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
