Are you a psychology graduate looking for hands-on experience supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? This is an excellent opportunity to work in a specialist SEMH setting, helping pupils who have struggled in mainstream education to re-engage with learning and build confidence.
The school supports pupils with complex emotional and behavioural needs, offering structured support, personalised learning, and positive role models. You will work alongside a dedicated team of teachers, teaching assistants, and pastoral staff to create a calm, safe, and supportive environment.
The role
You will support pupils both in the classroom and in small group settings, helping them develop emotional regulation, social skills, and engagement with learning.
Key responsibilities:
