Payrate: £95-£115 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from dedicated individuals for the role of Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Challenging Behaviours in schools across Rotherham (S25). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting pupils who require consistent guidance and encouragement.
As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to support pupils who may display challenging behaviours, helping them remain engaged in learning and develop positive coping strategies.
Key Duties of LSA - Challenging behaviours:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support as an LSA for pupils with challenging behaviours.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and support plans.
- Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff.
- Support pupils in developing social and communication skills.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or additional needs.
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of behaviour management strategies in a school setting.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
