£95-£115 per day (Depending on experience)

Are you a supportive and resilient Behaviour Mentor who is passionate about guiding young people towards positive behaviour and engagement?

Schools in Rotherham (S25) and GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to provide consistent behavioural and pastoral support to pupils.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who may face behavioural or emotional challenges that affect their learning. You will help create a calm and structured environment where pupils feel supported, understood, and motivated to make positive choices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring support.
  • Implement behaviour management and support strategies.
  • Support students during lessons and unstructured times.
  • Encourage positive engagement in learning activities.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people or in behaviour support roles.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • A patient, calm, and resilient approach.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations professionally.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
