SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location:Boroughbridge
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract:Full Time

GSL Education are recruiting a resilient SEMH Teaching Assistantto support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs in a secondary school in Boroughbridge.

Responsibilities

Support pupils with SEMH needs within the classroom

Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement

Provide one to one support where required

Work with teachers to implement behaviour support strategies

Encourage confidence and resilience in learners
Requirements

Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs is beneficial

Strong behaviour management skills

Patient and understanding approach

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
