Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from an experienced Design Technology Teacher to work in schools across Doncaster (DN2, DN6). This is an excellent opportunity to engage pupils in hands-on learning while fostering innovation, problem-solving, and design skills.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver practical and theory-based lessons, supporting pupils to explore materials, construction methods, and design processes in a safe and creative environment.
Main Duties:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons.
- Support pupils in developing practical, creative, and technical skills.
- Promote safe working practices in workshops and practical sessions.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as a Design Technology Teacher.
- Contribute to school projects, exhibitions, and practical design challenges.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Design Technology in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- A creative, engaging, and motivating teaching approach.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
