Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: WF4
Salary: £460–£600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
You will assist teachers in delivering lessons, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help implement tailored strategies that promote learning, engagement, and confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Support SEN students during lessons and activities
  • Implement personalised learning strategies
  • Encourage independence and engagement
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
  • Assist with classroom resources and organisation

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting students with SEN is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
