Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently looking for a passionate Drama Teacher to work in schools in the S35 area of Sheffield.

As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons that encourage pupils to develop acting, improvisation, and performance skills while fostering teamwork and self-expression.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage pupils to explore creativity, performance, and storytelling.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Support school productions, performances, and enrichment activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Drama Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
