Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a creative and skilled Design Technology Teacher who enjoys inspiring students to design, create, and problem-solve?
Schools in Sheffield (S35) and GSL Education are searching for a skilled Design Technology Teacher to deliver engaging and practical lessons.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will support students in developing technical skills, creativity, and practical knowledge. You will create a positive and safe classroom environment where learners feel confident experimenting, designing, and producing high-quality work.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons.
- Teach practical skills, designing processes, and problem-solving techniques.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
- Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom safety.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Design Technology in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
