GSL Education is currently looking for enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join our supply team, supporting a variety of friendly day nurseries across Chelmsford and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who love Early Years but want the flexibility to choose when they work.

What the Role Involves
As a Nursery Assistant on supply, you will support nursery teams in providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment where young children can learn, explore, and develop.
Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting children’s learning, play, and development in Early Years settings

Assisting with activities, games, and creative play

Helping with daily nursery routines such as snack time, story time, and outdoor play

Creating a positive, nurturing environment for children

Working as part of a friendly and supportive nursery team

Following safeguarding and nursery policies
What We’re Looking For

Experience working with young children in a nursery, childcare, or Early Years setting

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential

A warm, energetic, and reliable approach

The ability to adapt quickly to different nursery environments

A genuine passion for Early Years education and childcare
