Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham – S25
Salary: £460–£600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
You will work alongside teachers to support SEN students, help implement personalised learning plans, and provide encouragement to build confidence and independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in accessing lessons and activities
  • Support personalised learning strategies and interventions
  • Encourage engagement and independence
  • Monitor and record student progress
  • Provide support in both classroom and small-group settings

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting students with SEN desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team

To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
