Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham – S25
Salary: £460–£600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
You will work alongside teachers to support SEN students, help implement personalised learning plans, and provide encouragement to build confidence and independence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students in accessing lessons and activities
- Support personalised learning strategies and interventions
- Encourage engagement and independence
- Monitor and record student progress
- Provide support in both classroom and small-group settings
Requirements:
- Experience supporting students with SEN desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
