KS2 Teacher
Location: Thanet, Kent
Contract Type: Full-time
Start: ASAP
Duration: Until the end of the Summer Term
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher seeking an exciting teaching opportunity in Thanet?
We are currently recruiting a committed KS2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school as soon as possible for the remainder of the academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated KS2 Teacher to become part of a collaborative school environment where staff work closely together to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere. The school values creativity in teaching and encourages teachers to bring enthusiasm and energy into the classroom.
Key responsibilities of the KS2 Teacher include:
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
• Supporting pupils’ progress in core subjects including English and Mathematics
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress throughout the term
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and a love of learning in pupils
The ideal KS2 Teacher will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential (applications without QTS will not be accepted)
• Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• The ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
• A proactive, flexible, and professional approach to teaching
