Job Title: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-time, Long Term/Day-to-day

Key Responsibilities of the Religious Education (RE) Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver informative and engaging RE lessons across Key Stages.
  • Promote critical thinking, respect, and appreciation for diverse beliefs and worldviews.
  • Create dynamic lessons that encourage discussion, reflection, and cultural understanding.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the RE curriculum and contribute to a positive school environment.

Requirements for the Religious Education (RE) Teacher role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience delivering Religious Education at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for exploring religion, culture, and ethics.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
