Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Support students in their learning and help create a positive classroom environment where every child can achieve their potential!
GSL Education are searching for a reliable and caring Teaching Assistant to join schools in Doncaster, covering the DN2 and DN6 areas. The Teaching Assistant (TA) will work closely with teachers to provide in-class support, helping students stay engaged and make progress in their learning.
Main Duties:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students.
- Assist with preparing and adapting classroom resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour and active participation.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting as Teaching Assistant.
- Patient, supportive, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
