Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day supply
Provide consistent classroom support and ensure learning continues smoothly when teaching staff are absent!
GSL Education are looking for a reliable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Doncaster (DN2, DN6), maintaining a positive learning environment and keeping students engaged with pre-set lessons.
As Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes, support students in completing assigned work, and uphold school routines and behaviour standards during staff absences.
Key Duties of Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise lessons using work prepared by teaching staff
- Maintain strong classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task
- Support pupils where needed to understand and complete tasks
- Record attendance and report any concerns to senior staff
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confidence in supervising classes independently
- Flexible, organised, and professional approach
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
