Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a skilled Computer Science Teacher to work in schools across the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley.
As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy, while encouraging practical skills and creative problem-solving.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach programming, algorithms, computer systems, and digital literacy.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
