Location: Darlington
Salary: £150 – £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a motivated, caring, and skilled SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Darlington. This is a fantastic opportunity to positively impact learners’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities of SEN Teacher:
- Deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to a variety of SEN needs.
- Create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, external specialists, and parents/carers.
- Track pupil progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual targets.
- Support pupils in developing independence, confidence, and social skills.
Requirements for SEN Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND (e.g., ASD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD).
- Strong behaviour management and a compassionate, student-centred approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to individual needs.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
