Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from an experienced Geography Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S5, S9). This is a great opportunity to inspire pupils through engaging lessons that explore both physical and human geography.

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that encourage curiosity about environmental issues, global cultures, and geographical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons as a Geography Teacher.
  • Encourage pupils to develop map-reading, research, and analytical skills.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Geography in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • An engaging, patient, and supportive teaching approach.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
