Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Design Technology Teacher to work with schools in Sheffield, including the S5 and S9 areas, delivering engaging lessons that encourage innovation and hands-on learning.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that help students explore design processes, develop technical skills, and apply creative thinking in a supportive classroom and workshop environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach students practical design, construction, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop or classroom environment.
- Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of workshop safety procedures and practical teaching methods.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
