Salary: £150 – £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive school community in Ashford. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who can deliver personalised learning, champion student progress, and create a safe and supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons that meet the needs of students with a variety of special educational needs.
  • Support pupils in developing academic, social, and emotional skills.
  • Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment where all learners feel valued.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, therapists, and parents/carers to ensure consistent progress and well‑being.

Requirements for the SEN Teacher role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEMH).
  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and behaviour support strategies.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and organisational skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
