Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from an experienced English Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71). This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire pupils through engaging lessons that build confidence in reading, writing, and critical thinking.
As an English Teacher, you will deliver creative and well-structured lessons that encourage pupils to explore a wide range of texts while developing their language and literacy skills.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons as an English Teacher.
- Support pupils in developing reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil achievement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A creative, patient, and engaging teaching approach.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
