Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are inviting applications from a knowledgably Science Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S5, S9), delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and encourage scientific enquiry.

As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver practical and theoretical lessons across biology, chemistry, and physics, helping pupils build a strong understanding of scientific concepts and investigative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons as a Science Teacher.
  • Support pupils in developing practical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching science in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • An enthusiastic, patient, and engaging teaching approach.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
