Teaching Assistant
Location: York
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full Time / Part Time
Start Date: Immediate or February 2026
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a welcoming school in York.

Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning within the classroom

Provide small group and 1:1 support where required

Assist teachers with classroom preparation and learning activities

Support pupils with additional learning needs

Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Requirements
-
Previous experience working in a school or education setting

Positive and patient approach to supporting pupils

Strong communication and teamwork skills

DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
