Job Title: Sports Coach Background – Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

Are you a Sports Coach looking to transition into education? Schools in Sheffield are seeking enthusiastic individuals with a sports background to support students both in the classroom and during activities.

About the Role:
This role combines classroom support with supervising lessons, making it ideal for individuals with coaching or mentoring experience.
Responsibilities:
• Support students during lessons and classroom activities.
• Supervise classes when teachers are absent.
• Encourage teamwork, motivation, and participation.
• Assist with behaviour management and student engagement.
• Promote a positive and active learning environment.
Qualifications:
• Sports coaching or youth mentoring experience preferred.
• Confident communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young people.
• Adaptable and proactive approach to classroom support.
